Genderless Fashion – The New Look For The Future

The fashion industry is known to be a pioneer in breaking the cultural boundaries of a society. It is a canvas on which the new designs for the culture are painted by who can see farther than some of us. Think of the mini skirts and bikinis from 60s, the revolution of the big hair and colors of the 80s. Women wearing pants, anti-war protest and the free flowing fabrics of the hippie movement with peace signs as accessories, the industrial revolution they all gave a glimpse into the future of the fashion.

Too Much Sex On Display? Are We Taking Permissiveness Too Far?

Society as a whole tends to take polarised views of sexual permissiveness. Emotive language is used by those on both sides of the debate – one side being labelled as narrow-minded, prudish and moralistic and the other as being decadent, indecent, and exhibitionist. Those with a more balanced perspective use more moderate language. They ask whether a relaxed attitude, towards public display of explicit sexual imagery, simply amounts to being liberal, open-minded and tolerant. But they also wonder if sexual explicitness is to do with a lack of spiritual awareness about the deeper significance of the sexual relationship. Are we pushing permissiveness too far?
